Cuando los enanitos llegaron a la cabaña, encontraron a Blancanieves tendida en el suelo. Le gritaron en las orejas. Pellizcaron sus pies. Echaron agua fría en su rostro. Pero Blancanieves no despertó.
When the dwarfs arrived home (at the cottage), they found Snow White lying on the floor. They yelled in her ears. They tickled her feet. They poured cold water on her face. But Snow White didn't wake up.
“¿Está muerta?” preguntó un enanito.
“No parece estar viva…” dijo otro enanito.
"Is she dead?" asked one dwarf.
"She doesn't seem to be alive..." said a second.
Y entonces, los enanitos hicieron un hermoso ataúd de cristal para su querida amiga. Lo pusieron sobre una mesa en un lugar hermoso del bosque, rodeado de flores.
And so, the dwarfs made a beautiful glass coffin for their dear friend. They put it on a table in a beautiful place in the forest, surrounded by flowers.
Blancanieves yació ahí por más de un año: durante la primavera, el verano, el otoño y el invierno.
Snow White lay there for more than a year: Through spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Un día, un príncipe de otro reino estaba caminando por el bosque con su perro cuando encontró el extraño ataúd de cristal cubierto de hojas. Las sacudió y encontró a Blancanieves dentro.
One day, a prince from another kingdom was walking through the forest with his dog, when he found the strange glass coffin covered in leaves. He brushed them off and saw Snow White inside.
Justo en ese momento, tropezó con su perro y tiró sin querer el ataúd de la mesa. Blancanieves rodó por la hierba.
“Ay, ¡no! ¡Maldición! ¡Santo cielo!” gritó el príncipe.
Just then, he tripped over his dog and knocked (unintentionally threw) the coffin off the table. Snow White rolled onto (through) the grass.
"Oh no! Oh drat! Oh dear! (Curse! Holy sky!)" cried the prince.
Pero entonces algo increíble ocurrió.
El pedazo de manzana envenenada, que Blancanieves tenía atorado en la garganta, salió disparado de su boca.
But then something incredible happened.
The piece of poisoned apple that Snow White had stuck in her throat shot out of her mouth.
Blancanieves empezó a toser y el príncipe se apresuró a ayudarla.
“Manzanas” dijo Blancanieves.
“¿Perdón?” dijo el príncipe.
“No...más...manzanas!”
Snow White started to cough, and the prince rushed to help her.
"Apples..." said Snow White.
"Pardon?" said the prince.
"No... more... apples!"
Esa noche, la reina se puso frente al espejo e hizo su pregunta.
“Espejo mágico, dime una cosa. ¿Quién es de este reino la más hermosa?”
That night, the queen stood in front of the magic mirror and asked her question:
"Magic mirror, tell me one thing. Who is the most beautiful in this kingdom?"
Y para su sorpresa, el espejo dijo:
“Usted es muy hermosa, mi reina. Pero Blancanieves es otra vez la mujer más hermosa del reino”.
And to her surprise, the mirror said:
"You are very beautiful, my queen. But Snow White is again the most beautiful woman in the kingdom."
“¿QUÉEEEEEEEEE?” gritó la reina. Y en su furia, agarró un zapato y lo lanzó al espejo.
El espejo se hizo trizas, y la magia que había dentro se liberó.
"WHAAAAAAAT?!" cried the queen. And in her fury, she grabbed a shoe and threw it at the mirror.
The mirror shattered (made tiny pieces), and the magic inside was released.
“¡NOOOOOOOOOOO!” gritó la reina. Y luego, como Blancanieves, se derrumbó en el suelo y cayó en un profundo sueño.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" screamed the queen. And then, like Snow White, she collapsed onto the floor and fell into a deep sleep.
Mientras dormía, la reina tuvo un sueño extraño. Estaba bailando en zapatos de hierro caliente. Sus pies se quemaban cada vez más, pero ella no podía parar de bailar.
While she slept, the queen had a strange dream. She was dancing in shoes of hot iron. Her feet burned and burned (burned more and more), but she couldn't stop dancing.
Cuando la reina despertó de este sueño terrible, era de día. El sol brillaba, y la reina se sentía...diferente. El hechizo del espejo mágico se había roto, así que la reina ya no se sentía preocupada ni celosa. Se sentía libre.
When the queen woke from this terrible dream, it was daytime. The sun was shining, and the queen felt... different. The magic mirror's spell had been broken, so the queen was no longer anxious or jealous. She felt free.
La reina bajó las escaleras para buscar a su marido. Tenía muchas ganas de jugar al Scrabble.
The queen went down the stairs to find her husband. She really wanted to play Scrabble.

And what happened to Snow White?
Los enanitos estaban felices porque su amiga estaba viva. Invitaron al príncipe a cenar. Cuando el príncipe se enteró de que a nadie le gustaba lavar los platos, compró un lavavajillas.
The dwarfs were happy that their friend was alive. They invited the prince to dinner. When the prince found out that nobody liked to wash dishes, he bought (them) a dishwasher.
Todos vivieron felices para siempre.
Everyone lived happily ever after.
